A Sensitivity Reader is a Professional Reader who uses their lived experiences and expertise to give honest feedback on how your story represents someone or something. My specialty is focused on eliminating biases, negative stereotypes, and clichés from your stories. I look at in-progress manuscripts to give honest feedback most often related to how your story represents People of Color. We would always decided ahead of time what the sensitivity read is focused on, in addition to giving a balanced evaluation about your overall work.
